Added:

  • Joe Hisaishi/Azumi Inoue, My Neighbor Totoro OST: Another movie where the music is perfect in the movie but less so out of context, still fun though, especially the fluttering keyboard tracks.
  • Keith Jarrett, The Koln Concert: I guess this isn’t cool anymore? Considered corny? Got back into it because of Bad Timing.
  • Mercyful Fate, Melissa: Mainly for “Into the Coven”
  • Today is the Day, Sadness Will Prevail: Developing a “slept-on” albums of “the aughts” list, this is one of them.
  • Zomby, Where Were U in 92?: Like DJ Sega’s New Jack Philly, I’m into this but not sure why. Fun to drive to but also has me thinking/intellectualizing it.

Removed:

  • Clint Mansell, Moon OST: The music here works wonderfully in the movie but is basically crap without the dramatic build-up and visuals.
  • Gui Boratto, Take My Breath Away: Just sorta bad? Laughably so.
